A trembling Ven'eelg flanked by two Spidr'ac guards
slipped some bread and soup through a narrow trap door. The jailors seemed

all!" whimpered a Ven'eelg to his companion.
A Ven'eelg chief slithered into the compound. "Go

slithered towards the prisoner.
"Look at the mighty Torin!" it shrieked as it
prodded at him with a gleaming sword. "Let me tassste the blood of Torin,
the warrior chief!" it hissed as it lunged, open mouth fully displayed.
Its fangs broke at the impact.
Torin's gray eyes pierced right through the Ven'eelg.
His assailant bolted out of the cell.
