There are two types of warriors. The stealths
and the elites.
The elites live in spacious quarters within the clouds, much more luxuriously
than the stealths who are already well cared for by the academy. All their needs
are very well taken care of by The Academy. On top of that, the elites neither
age, fall sick nor die. As such, many stealths envy the elites and hope to be
selected one day to join their ranks. On top of that, an elite holds far more
power than an army of stealths.
Everything comes with a price. The price the elites pay for their status is a
heavy one. Elites cannot live amongst humans. Once the switch is made, they have
to leave their families, friends and loved ones and move to the Academy where
everything is indestructible. In their sleep, they may leak energy which can
burn down buildings and kill humans and stealths alike.
The first warriors were all elites. After the massacre, all new warriors were
mainly stealths, with a rare few selected to join the ranks of the elites. The
only ones to survive that massacre were Helen,
Bob, Jake and Torin.
The warrior chiefs, Jake and
Torin, can be considered
elites though they have more power than the normal elite warrior.
Helen, though an elite, functions most of the time as the chief healer, due
to her background and brilliance in medicine and technology. She too can be
called upon at anytime to protect her world as an elite warrior.
