Sarah
- Sarah is the first character we encounter in the story. We see her
plight as an ordinary human who flees from the ven'eelgs.
We watch how her friends and family are brutally tormented and then killed by
the dark
beasts.
Jake
- Jake is a warrior
chief. His mission in life is to rid his world of the dark beasts. His
brothers were killed brutally by these creatures and he has seen his world
wrecked by the madness of those supernatural dark beasts. He may be good natured
but when it comes to the enemy, he is brutal. He destroys the dark beasts
without hesitation.
Torin - Torin is the
leader of the warriors. A
warrior chief himself, his mind powers are immeasurable. All the dark beasts
know and fear his name.
Helen - Helen is the
first female warrior in the group. She is one of the original elite warriors and
was recruited by Torin soon after the elites came about. A brilliant scientist,
doctor and fighter, Torin saw her potential and made her play dual roles. She is
both a warrior as well as their chief doctor and scientist, though her duties on
the battlefield are kept minimal.
Bob - Bob is a warrior from
Torin's village. He is one of the few remaining elite warriors left after the
massacre. He was one of those who helped bring the situation under control and
to put an end to that massacre. He trains the stealth warriors in his realm.
Caelan - Caelan is a
young, inexperienced stealth warrior when he first appears in the story. He is
Evan's partner on missions.
Evan - Evan is a very
experienced stealth warrior often sent on mission critical investigations. He
was a detective before he joined the warriors.
Hakan - Hakan is an
ambitious young stealth warrior who has proven his cunning on the battlefield.
