In the sfxfantasy world, the warriors were mythical beings who hunted their
captors, the dark beasts. They looked human enough. You wouldn't be able to tell
that a person is a warrior until he displays his powers, which they rarely do in
front of regular people. Most people think warriors are but a myth. Only those
who saw them in action know they do exist.
Before her captivity, Sarah would not have believed the dark beasts existed
either. After her encounters with Ven'eelgs and the other monstrosities, Sarah
began to doubt her own sanity. As she fled from the Ven'eelgs, strange things
began to happen.
She did not find the warriors. They found her.. and made her one of them.
All warriors started off as regular humans. They originated from two
villages. One headed by Torin and the other by Jake. Both villages merged to
form a single warrior force dedicated in the fight against the dark beasts. To
achieve this merger, Jake gave up his authority as warrior chief of one of the
villages so that he and his men could report to Torin in the combined army. That
decision made a great impact in the human struggle against the supernatural
invaders.
It was this combined army of warriors that suddenly received these
supernatural powers that enabled them to drive the beasts into hiding.
There are two groups of warriors. The elite
warriors and the stealth
warriors. The original warriors were all full powered elite warriors. A
single elite warrior is enough take down an entire battalion of dark beasts
easily.
After the massacre by a traitorous elite warrior, only four elites were left.
They rebuilt their world by recruiting new human warriors and giving these new
recruits a part of their strange powers. This time, these new warriors were made
stealth warriors and given a small amount of power each. Only a chosen few were
given the full power of elite warriors.
All the warriors have the following powers
flight
telekinesis
teleportation
ability to shoot streams of fire from their hands
able to stun humans and beasts alike with blasts from their hands
able to throw bolts of electricity at whim
telepathy
The elite warriors have far more power than that and themselves are not aware
of the full extent of their abilities. Of the elite warriors, the two warrior
chiefs, Torin and Jake are by far the most powerful, though they specialize
in different areas where their powers are concerned.
